I have a story from a while ago,
When I went shoe shopping with Okaasan,
At first, I struggled to find a suitable pair because the styles I liked didn't accommodate my feet.
After pondering for a while, I opted to rely on my mother's selection, believing they would suit me best. Despite not being particularly fond of them, I reassured myself that as long as they fit. Besides, my feet are on the larger side, making it challenging to find shoes I love.
However, just before making the purchase - I spotted a sample on the nearby shelf that caught my eye. I instantly fell in love with it - and fortunately, it also fits perfectly. Despite being less expensive than the shoes my mother had chosen, I felt immense happiness and satisfaction with my decision.
This experience taught me a valuable lesson. Sometimes, we encounter choices that offer either the right style but the wrong size or the right size but not the preferred style. Making such decisions leaves us feeling incomplete and uncomfortable. Therefore, it's important not to rush. Let's take our time, remain calm, and choose options that align with our preferences and practicality.
Back then, I had just graduated and was eagerly seeking employment. Despite knowing what I wanted, it seemed elusive. In moments when I felt my determination wavering, I recalled this story as a source of motivation. It might seem trivial - a pair of shoes - but it symbolized resilience and the pursuit of what resonated with me.
I hope each of you finds that pair of shoes you love and embarks on your journey with them. Love you. ♡
