π A Little Freedom Between Us
There was a time when I silently had a crush on you. It wasn’t loud or obvious — it was soft, like a small flame I kept hidden in my heart. I never knew what you thought of me, and maybe you never knew how much I cared.
Sometimes, I replay those moments in my mind: the way you smiled, the simple talks we shared, the feeling of wanting to be closer but not knowing how. It was innocent, yet it carried a quiet ache — that sweet, uncertain space between friendship and something more.
There was a time when I wanted to meet you just once — and then I would let go. We had our own separate ways to grow, like two birds flying in opposite directions. I thought that if we could meet, maybe it would help me forget you. Because when we can’t have something, we tend to long for it more, but once we have it, we might grow tired of it.
But then an unexpected distance came between us, and maybe you didn’t want to give me that chance either. So I couldn’t do what I wished. Still, the thought of it carried a quiet ache in my heart.
As time passed, I thought about it again and again. I realised that holding on to what I couldn’t understand might only keep both of us trapped — you in silence, and me in hope. So I decided to let go, not because I hated you, but because I wanted us both to find our own peace.
Freedom to find ourselves.
Freedom to grow without regret.
Freedom to love again, in our own time and way.
I’m sorry for pulling you into my feelings, and thank you for your quiet kindness — for choosing not to push me away even if you feel hard at that time.
Sometimes, letting go doesn’t mean losing someone — it means respecting what never had the right moment to bloom. And maybe, somewhere beyond time, somewhere in this world, we’ll meet again with lighter hearts.
For some reason, whenever I think about you, there’s a quiet loneliness that seems to surround you.
Hope you find peace - and someone who will stay by your side with warmth. π π
